Are you ready to jump into the exciting world of intelligent solutions?
At this stage, you should already have basic understanding about Microsoft Azure and its services, artificial intelligence and its main principles, as well as the fundamentals of data. We've also explored collaborative development, global database solutions, and Azure development from a variety of perspectives.
In this seventh course, our focus will be on designing and implementing modern solutions that rely on artificial intelligence. We’ll still be using Microsoft Azure, but we’ll look at things from the perspective of an AI developer.
Most of the time, we’ll be focusing on generative AI and especially language models. We’ll get to know concepts such as language generation and retrieval augmented generation while exploring how they can be used to empower modern Azure solutions.
While not a required prerequisite, having an understanding of the basic skills needed when developing Azure solutions and Microsoft C#, or other similar programming languages, will come in handy on this course.
After the course, you’ll have a clear understanding of the tools Microsoft Azure offers for building and implementing AI solutions. You'll have a strong foundation on which to continue building your skills.
It is recommended to complete the topics in order, starting from the first one.
We also recommend that you complete the courses of this micro degree in order. Before taking on this one, please make sure that you have already completed the courses 1) Exploring Microsoft Azure, 2) Exploring Artificial Intelligence, 3) Exploring Data and Analytics, 4) Accelerating Development Workflow, 5) Getting Started with Cloud Native Data Storage, and 6) Getting Started with Azure Development. This is the seventh and final course of this micro degree.
The scope of this course is two European study credits (2 ECTS), and a pass/fail grading system is used. You must complete every assignment in order to pass the course. You can follow the completion on Course progress page by pressing the progress icon in the top right corner. You can advance at your own pace and move around the course platform as you go – take your time to review from time to time and get the most out of your studies. Once you’ve completed the course, you will receive a course completion certificate and a LinkedIn sharable badge to show your new skills.
The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a tool of the European Higher Education Area for making studies and courses more transparent. It helps students to move between countries and to have their academic qualifications and study periods abroad recognized. ECTS allows credits taken at one higher education institution to be counted towards a qualification studied for at another. ECTS credits represent learning based on defined learning outcomes and their associated workload. ECTS enhances the flexibility of study programmes for students. It also supports the planning, delivery and evaluation of higher education programmes. It is a central tool in the Bologna Process, which aims to make national education systems more comparable internationally. ECTS also helps make other documents, such as the Diploma Supplement, clearer and easier to use in different countries. ECTS has been adopted by most of the countries in the European Higher Education Area as the national credit system and is increasingly used elsewhere.
